Dudley Zoological Gardens

Dudley Zoological Gardens has been welcoming visitors since 1937 and is home to some of the world's rarest and most exotic animals.  


It is also home to Dudley’s very own 11th century castle, which was first mentioned in the Domesday book in 1086 and the worlds largest collection of Tecton buildings.

Please note that if you wish to visit the Castle it is enclosed within the zoo grounds and you cannot visit the Castle separately. You must pay the full admission price upon entry to Dudley Zoological Gardens to view the Castle.

Opening times

Open everyday from 10am (except Christmas Day)
Last admission winter 3pm and summer (Easter to September) 4pm
