Dudley Town Centre 3.45pm to 9.30pm

Dudley will be welcoming British Cycling's exciting Dudley Grand Prix event to the town centre on Friday 12 July.

Enjoy an evening of exhilarating cycle racing around a fast, twisty circuit of Dudley town centre, with top British competitors chasing the gold medal around local landmarks like Coronation Gardens and Dudley Town Hall.

Race day will begin at 4pm with a social community ride running for an hour to give families the chance to cycle through the circuit.

You can sign up for the community ride on the Dudley Grand Prix website.

From 5pm until around 5.50pm there will be under 12s, under 14s and under 16s racing, with the regional amateur race starting at 6pm.

The women's national circuit series race is due to get under way at 7pm, before the event concludes with the open national circuit series race which starts at 8pm.

The start and finish of all races will be on Priory Road by Dudley College, where you'll find refreshment stalls and entertainment.

The Dudley Grand Prix is funded by the UK Government, the West Midlands Combined Authority, and the Commonwealth Games Legacy Enhancement Fund.

The event is part of the month-long Black Country Festival, a programme of community events celebrating our region's unique local culture and heritage.

Many thanks to our race sponsors Schwalbe, Triple Twenty Taxis, Fieldings Auctioneers, and Jewson.

This event is free to attend and no tickets are required.
