Celebrating the art of handmade lace in all its forms. The Lace Guild is a membership organisation for anyone interested in lacemaking.
The Guild's headquarters is based at The Hollies in Stourbridge. The Hollies contain a well-appointed library, probably the most comprehensive lace library in the world and a collection of lace and lace-related items which has been recognised through the designation of The Hollies as an accredited museum.
Both members and non-members are welcome to visit The Hollies. Entrance is free but donations are welcome.

Car Parking
There is a small car park at The Hollies, in addition to parking on Junction Road. There is also a car park at the Red House Glass Cone, which is a short distance along the A491, which visitors to The Hollies are welcome to use. It is also where the Lace Guild also has a small exhibition case that is also themed and changed regularly.
Why not combine a visit to the Red House Glass Cone (admission free), where there is a lovely coffee house. Or explore the Stourbridge Glass Museum directly opposite (charges apply).

The exhibition room is open to visitors:
Wednesday - Friday 10.00am-3.00pm and on the first Saturday of each month from 10.00am-3.00pm February to November.
Groups of 5 or more are asked to contact in advance.
On the first Saturday opening in February, May, August, November we have a lace museum curator on duty to identify and inform about lace bought in e.g. type, origin, care, and storage.
We can arrange special group visits on the open days with notice given, subject to the size of group and availability of volunteers. Please phone The Hollies - the Lace Guild headquarters.
