Expect industrial heritage.  A history littered with innovation, drive and determination.  Stourbridge Glass Quarter with its 400 years of glassmaking history, an 11th Century castle at Dudley Zoological Gardens, the amazing underground limestone mines at Dudley Canal & Tunnel Trust and an old fashioned Victorian street at the Black Country Living Museum where you can meet and chat to costumed characters. The next International Festival of Glass will take place on Friday 25 August to Monday 28 August 2017. Join some of the most talented glass artists from all over the world as they demonstrate an eclectic and inspiring mix of glass techniques. There will be an exciting mix of talks, demonstrations, lectures and exhibitions. The Stourbridge Glass Quarter will be all alive with family activities, including a teenage market, family fun day, lively street entertainment, storytelling, puppet shows, costumed interpreters and a fabulous Festival Finale.
